Fresh out on Boot Records is this 7" from Jazz T (co-produced by label partner Zygote). Limited to 200 and featuring Jehst and Jyager, "The Lesson" is a high-energy joint that 'summons the spectre of the sadly departed D&D Studios'.

Jyager provides the hook whilst Billy Brimstone drops two verses of dopeness, featuring lines like "comin' off the head like Hussein, I keep it underground like a tube train". It's not often that Jehst fails to deliver on a track and this is no exception, delivering sharp lyrics in his usual effotless flow.

This is the first single from the forthcoming "Run the Changes" album and it serves it's purpose - I can't wait to hear what Jazz T will put together for the likes of BVA, Smellington Piff, Kashmere and J-Zone(!!) to rhyme on. As well as the wax (if there's any left by now), you can pick this up for the bargainous £1.29 at Boot's bandcamp page.
